Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

ISI Live (“SP2”) lets an organisation connect its Facebook Page so that our streaming platform can create and manage live videos on that Page on its behalf.

What we store when you connect a Page

We do not collect data about your Page’s followers, viewers, comments, or messages, and we do not store any Facebook data for users who have not connected a Page.

How to delete your data

Any of the following removes the connection and deletes the stored Page token and connection record:

  1. From the SP2 admin console — open your Client Account, find the Facebook Pages panel, and click Disconnect next to the Page. The stored token is revoked with Facebook (where Facebook allows it) and the connection record is deleted immediately.
  2. From Facebook — go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations (facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools), find ISI Live, and click Remove. This invalidates the token Facebook issued to us; our platform marks the connection as broken and stops all API activity on the Page. You may also use option 1 or 3 to remove the connection record itself.
  3. By email — send a request to support@isilive.ca from an address associated with your ISI Live account, naming the Facebook Page. We will delete the connection record and confirm within 10 business days.

What deletion does and does not remove

Deleting the connection removes the Page token and connection details from our systems. Live videos already created on your Facebook Page belong to the Page and remain on Facebook unless you delete them there. Entries in your own SP2 stream activity log referring to those broadcasts are retained as part of your account’s operational history and are deleted with the account.
